Ashburton Glass Ltd was established in 2020 by Shane and Mandy Woods with the vision to deliver top quality glazing services to the Mid Canterbury community. Both born-and-bred in Ashburton, they are locals supporting locals, and offer a range of residential glazing services and an experienced team to get the job done. Ashburton Glass is the company you can trust, with a real commitment to customer service and job satisfaction.
Meet the team
Ruel Arzadon
Senior glazier
Ruel has worked as a glazier for the past 25 years so is a wealth of knowledge. He worked as a glazier in the Philippines for 18 years before coming to New Zealand seven years ago, specialising in house glazing. Ruel is married with five children and when he's not hard at work, you'll find him playing pool in his garage or spending time with his family.
Braden Wells
Senior glazier
Braden is a born-and-bred local and has moved back to Ashburton after 10+ years project managing in Christchurch and Wellington in the glass industry, specialising in frameless glass, commercial and everything in between. When he is not working he plays competitive rugby, volunteers for our local fire brigade, enjoys hunting and fishing and spending time with his fiance Hilary and his young son Brooklyn.
Ann Francis
Office manager
Ann is the office manager three days a week and loves working in the glass industry. She has settled in Ashburton after many years of living in the Hamilton where she learned the ins and outs of the industry. When she's not behind the desk, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her grandchildren. Mandy is in the office two days each week.
Shane and Mandy Woods
Local owners
Born and bred in Mid Canterbury, Shane and Mandy are passionate about the community they live in. They started the local company Insideout Property Services 2010 Ltd in 2010 and have been servicing the Canterbury community ever since. When the chance to purchase a glazing business presented itself, they jumped at the chance to bring it back under local ownership. They are thankful to have a fantastic team of people on their side.
When they are not working, they like to spend time with their children, 15-year-old Nate and 13-year-old Lily.
